Effective immediately, First News, hosted by Herb Luft at 6 a.m. has been cancelled, and so have our local news briefs during Canada AM.
We know we have built a loyal audience for our first news of the day, and we thank you for watching.
Herb will continue to report for the rest of our news shows.
And when it comes to news, CTV Montreal will still provide more of it than any English language station in the province.
