Six people were stabbed in a series of separate incidents in Montreal and on the South Shore overnight.

"It was a pretty busy night," said Montreal police Const. Philippe Collins.

A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach at about 2:30 a.m. inside Globe Restaurant, located on St. Laurent Blvd. at the corner of Milton St.

Just after 3:00 a.m., another man, 29, was stabbed repeatedly in the back at the corner of St. Jacques St. W., and St. Ferdinand St., outside of the St. Henri metro station.

Finally, at around 4:00 a.m., three doormen were stabbed at Circus, an after hours club on St. Catherine St. E., near St. Andr� St. Collins said the men were stabbed after they refused to let a group of people into the club.

Police do not have a description of any of the suspects. In all three cases, the suspects fled the scene, and all five of the victims refused to cooperate with police.

None of the victims suffered life threatening injuries.

Brossard stabbing

Around 2:30 a.m., a 24-year-old man was stabbed three times in the back at the Fuzzy bar in Brossard, after getting into a fight with a group of people.

He suffered a punctured lung, but his life is not in danger.

Three men, considered important witnesses, were questioned by Longueuil police after the incident.

So far, police have not laid any charges.
