Grald Deltell is considering throwing his hat into the ring to replace Mario Dumont as leader of the ADQ.

Deltell, MNA for Chauveau, is among the party members gathered at the ADQ's general council meeting this weekend in Quebec City.

Three other candidates have so far entered the ADQ leadership race: ric Caire, MNA for La Pltrie; Christian Lvesque, former MNA for the riding of Lvis, and former ADQ finance critic Gilles Taillon.

The new leader of the party won't be chosen until next February.

Those who want to declare their candidacy have until Sept. 22 to join the race.

Interested parties most collect 1,000 signatures, including at least 60 in a dozen different regions of Quebec.

They must also pay a deposit of $15,000.
