Laval police have set up a security perimeter after a man in his 40s was gunned down in broad daylight in Chomedey on Tuesday morning.
Investigators say the murder might have been a settling of accounts.
Police received a call around 9:30 a.m. from people who heard gunshots at 988 Fred-Barry.
Officers later found the body in front of a house.
Witnesses said a man ran out of a building and headed towards Le Corbusier Boulevard.
