A 49-year-old man suffered minor injuries after an assault with a pointy object, say police.
The victim was sitting in front of his house at 3350 Ste-Catherine Street when the suspect, a 48-year-old man, attacked him around 3 :30 a.m.
The victim ran into his house and called police, but was not taken to the hospital.
The two knew each other, but police do not have a motive for the assault. They expect to make an arrest in the case.
