Funeral services were held in Drummondville Saturday for Gabrielle Dionne, the 17-year-old girl killed following a car surfing accident in late July.

Dionne was seriously injured in Drummondville, 100 kilometres northeast of Montreal, when she fell from the roof of a vehicle witnesses say was travelling about 20 kilometres an hour.

After hitting her head, she spent several days in a coma before being taken off life support.

Dionne will be buried at the St. Phillippe cemetery.

The Crown prosecutor has yet to decide if the driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Jessyca Gauthier, will be charged with dangerous driving causing death. She returns to court Friday.

In July, 38-year-old Kevin Ducharme died from his injuries a week after he fell off the roof of an SUV while car surfing in D.D.O.

Tommy Palliser has been charged with hit-and-run and dangerous driving.
