A police car chase degenerated into a footrace early Wednesday morning.
Officers were chasing a speeding, stolen car on Decarie Blvd. when the driver tried to make a right-hand turn onto Queen Mary, but slammed into the median.
The squad car also failed to make the turn, hitting a lamp standard.
Police officers chased the two suspects on foot, and successfully captured both men.
The passenger was later released without charges.
The driver of the stolen car is expected to appear in court Wednesday on charges of auto theft.
