A 26-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night after Montreal police raided his home in St. Michel following a tip from the public.
Police obtained a warrant to search the residence at 8511 All�e Robert, and discovered a firearm inside.
The suspect will appear in court to face charges of possession of a firearm, said Montreal police Const. Yannick Ouimet.
The suspect was known to police, he added.
