A chemical reaction in the Arclin plant in Ste. Th�r�se, north of Montreal, forced the evacuation of about 80 people Wednesday night.
Police helped evacuees leave their homes on Labonte and Belanger Sts. at around 11:30 p.m.
Based in Mississauga, Ont., Arclin produces resins and adhesives used in plywood and wooden flooring.
