A 49-year-old man from Laval was killed when he rear-ended a truck northeast of Montreal on Friday morning.

The man was driving northbound on Route 125 in Ste-Julienne when he slammed into a tractor-trailer that was parked on the side of the road.

It's not known if the truck's hazard lights were flashing at the time.

It's not known why the man collided with the truck.

South-shore collision

An 18-year-old man suffered injuries to his legs and arms when he hit a bus in south-shore Beloeil overnight Friday.

It happened on Industrie blvd when the driver blew through a stop sign and slammed into the bus near Highway 20.

The driver of the bus was not seriously hurt.
