A 66-year-old pedestrian was killed on Monday evening while trying to cross the street in Ahuntsic.
The woman was struck at the corner of Olympia Blvd. and Henri-Bourassa around 8:30 p.m.
She suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead in hospital.
The driver was treated for shock.
Police still don't know what caused the accident.
