Fire chased 15 staffers out into the street when fire broke out in an industrial building in Anjou on Wednesday.

The plume of smoke could be seen for several kilometres.

The call came in just before 11:30 a.m. for Rho Inc., a plastic mannequin manufacturer on 10205 parkway.

The fire, fuelled by highly-flammable plastic and paint, spread quickly and soon engulfed the roof, which collapsed

It appears the fire started in the paint shop of the industrial building.

None of the workers was injured.

Damages are estimated to be $4 million.
