Loto Quebec is retiring its Super 7 lottery.

The final draw of the 15 year old lottery takes place Friday night, with a $21 million jackpot.

Even if no one picks all seven numbers, the entirety of the final jackpot will be distributed to people who match 6 out of 7 numbers.

The lottery will be replaced with a new game of chance called Lotto Max, with $5 tickets, a 7/49 draw structure, and a minimum grand prize worth $10 million.

The odds of winning the jackpot in the new game are 1 in 28, 633, 528.

It will also have a prize cap of $50 million, and once that is reached, each additional million dollars will be handed out in an additional draw.
