Canadian soldier Jean-Francois Drouin was laid to rest Saturday.

The 31-year old Corporal was killed September 6th by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan.

The military service was held at St. Louis-de-courville church in the Quebec city suburb of Beauport.

This was Drouin's first tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Major Yannick Pepin, whose funeral was Friday was killed by the same attack.

Both were members of 5 Combat Engineer Regiment, stationed in Valcartier.
