Two months after a concrete slab fell off a building and killed a woman, Peel street has finally re-opened in its entirety.

The Ville Marie borough announced Saturday that all the restrictions on vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Peel street between de Maisonneuve and Sherbrooke have been lifted.

Last week two lanes were opened up for traffic on the street, although the east-most lane remained closed.

An engineering firm hired by the building's owners says the hotel's facade is safe, and is expected to provide its full inspection report to the city by Sept. 21.
