Police officers are questioning a man who may be linked to an arson in Montreal's Villeray neighbourhood.
Around 2:30 Monday morning firefighters rushed to a building on St. Denis near Gounod.
They put out a suspicious fire that was deliberately started in the basement of the four-storey building undergoing renovations.
While they were there, burglar alarms went off in an office on the same block.
Police found a man in the basement of that building, and put him under arrest.
He's being questioned to determine if he has any links to the fire.
