A man remains in hospital with extensive burns to his body and a serious leg injury following an explosion in Cote-des-Neiges Wednesday night.
The blast occurred in the basement of an apartment on Bourret Ave. near Lavoie St. at around 10 p.m. police say the explosion was accidental and believe it was caused by flammable products that were in storage.
Forty people were forced out of their homes but have since returned.
