A 50-year-old man was killed late Friday night after a collision between two cars on Highway 440 in Laval.
Police say one car rear-ended another in a westbound lane at 11:45 p.m.
A 55-year-old female passenger suffered serious injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Police say excessive speed and wet pavement may have contributed to the crash.
They are considering charges against the second driver.
