A tow truck driver in his early 20s will appear in Valleyfield Court Monday to be arraigned on a charge of hit-and-run causing death.
His arrest comes after the body of 18-year-old Ile Perrot teenager Catherine Blanchemanche was found near Chez Maurice bar in St. Lazare early Saturday morning. She had suffered severe head injuries, said Surete du Quebec officers.
The tow truck has been seized by the Surete du Quebec and is being inspected. It was found near where the incident took place.
