A $10,000 reward is now being offered in the search for Natasha Cournoyer, the Corrections Canada employee who vanished from her workplace last Thursday.

Sun Youth is offering the reward for any information that leads to finding the 37-year-old woman.

After the intense weekend search, including the use of a helicopter, the Chief Inspector of the Laval Police department says nothing has been ruled out.

"We are working on several assumptions and at this time, we are not yet able to exclude one or the other," said Andre Pyton.

Cournoyer's boyfriend Michel Trottier is convinced she was kidnapped.

"It's not normal if she don't call me," said Trottier. "We have a very close relation[ship], so it's very ... something's very wrong."

Disappearance details

Cournoyer has been working in communications for Corrections Canada since May.

A surveillance video shows Cournoyer leaving her office building on Thursday night and heading toward the parking lot around 8 p.m.

What happened to her next remains a mystery, but her car was found Friday a short distance away.

Laval police set up a command post outside her office building, and Lt. Daniel Guerin said investigators were questioning employees who came to work Monday.

"We are trying to get in contact with most of the people that are working here because a lot of people, over 100 people, work here and we think that someone could have seen something," said Guerin.

Catherine Thomas, who works in the same building as Cournoyer, said the mysterious disapperance raises questions about security in the building's large parking lot after dark.

"There's some women who have complained in the past that there's no security in the parking, especially for those who work overtime. Sometimes they finish at 7 or 8," said Thomas.

Message from boyfriend

Trottier says he has already handed out more than 10,000 flyers with his girlfriend's picture.

If Cournoyer was indeed kidnapped, Trottier says he has a message for whoever is responsible.

"If they want something, just ask me. If you want money, ask me, I don't care ... but ... laissez la tranquille ... it's the only thing that we want," said Trottier.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 450-662-INFO (4636).
