Police say dangerous driving caused a collision on Sanguinet and Berri Sts. on Monday evening.
A 16-year-old boy was driving without a license on Beaver Hall around 10:30 p.m. when police officers spotted him.
When police tried to pull him over, he ran through several lights before crashing into a lamppost and hitting the wall of a building.
He suffered only a scratch on the head.
The young man had taken his dad's car without permission.
It's not clear what charges the youth will face.
