Two people were chased from their homes after a fire broke out in Lachine overnight Thursday.
Police say the fire was suspicious.
The three-story building on St. Jacques boulevard went up in flames, damaging a bakery, offices and one apartment unit.
The fire started in a stairwell.
A couple that lived upstairs had to leave ... no one was injured.
