Longueuil police say they have dismantled two illegal gambling houses linked to street gangs.
Officers raided sites in Old Longueuil and Greenfield Park around 1 a.m. Friday.
Two people were arrested on drug trafficking charges and police seized a car, gambling tables, plasma televisions and drug and gambling accessories.
More people could be arrested in the coming days, Longueuil police said in a statement.
Tips from the public led to the raids, which were carried out by members of a regional anti-gang squad.
The squad includes investigators from Longueuil police, the Surete du Quebec, and several other local police forces south of Montreal.
