The pilot of an ultralight plane that crashed last weekend on Highway 25 in Terrebonne has died of his injuries.

The plane went down the morning of Oct. 10, shortly after taking off from Mascouche Airport.

It went up in flames after becoming entangled in the guard rail of the median on the highway.

The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered severe burns to over 80 percent of his body.

At the time, police believed the man would survive, but his condition gradually deteriorated.

No one else was injured in the accident.
