A 25-year-old man is expected to appear in court Monday after allegedly stabbing a taxi driver.
Police say the taxi driver picked up the suspect in Verdun, at the corner of De l'Eglise and Wellington.
Soon after midnight the assailant stabbed the driver in the head, then fled with the driver's cash.
The driver was able to call for help, and was taken to hospital, where he is expected to make a full recovery.
A 25-year-old man was arrested soon after the attack.
He will be charged with robbery and assault with a weapon.
