A driver turned himself into Montreal police Saturday, after an early morning hit and run.

A 20 year-old pedestrian suffered injuries to his legs after he was struck at the corner of St. Antoine and Atwater Sts. around 3 a.m.

Police say the driver later called 911 and reported the incident.

An investigation is underway to determine whether the man will face criminal charges.

Second incident

A man in his 20s was struck by a car around 12:20 a.m. at the corner of Hotel de Ville and Mont Royal Aves.

Police say the driver failed to stop at a red light, and will face charges.

The pedestrian suffered head injuries, but his life is not in danger.
