A man has died after being hit by a train near the Via station in Dorval on Tuesday.
Via train number 53 from Montreal to Toronto was rolling just east of the station when it hit a 55-year-old man on the tracks just before 7 a.m.
Witnesses say the victim was walking alongside the tracks. The train conductor blew the horn several times but the man did not react.
The train was delayed for more than three hours while police investigated.
The track has since reopened.
