A woman in her 20s has been found dead in a garage in the Plateau district.
Montreal police Const. Raphael Bergeron said a man walked into the garage on Esplanade Ave. near Rachel St. and discovered the woman covered with a blanket.
There were no marks of violence on her body, but Bergeron said the death is being considered suspicious until they can determine exactly how she died.
Bergeron said it's possible the woman was homeless and was seeking shelter.
It's not clear how long the woman had been in the garage.
