The Montreal police arson squad is investigating a second suspicious fire in the Plateau district in as many days.
Police were called to a car wash on Iberville St. near Rachel around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday after witnesses reported hearing an explosion.
Officers noticed the flames and called firefighters who quickly intervened.
Damages were limited and there were no injuries.
Traces of a flammable material were later found at the scene.
Police say it's too early to determine whether there is a link with a suspicious fire that left 20 people homeless in the neighbourhood on Tuesday morning.
