There has been another firebombing at an Italian café - the fifth in three weeks.

It was one of two unrelated Molotov cocktail attacks in the east end on Thursday morning.

At around 5 a.m. firefighters were called to a building on 3719 Villeray St. near 17th avenue.

A molotov cocktail had been thrown into an Italian café.

Residents living on top of the building were forced into the street, and no one was hurt. Damages to the building were relatively minor.

The Montreal police arson squad is investigating four attacks dating back to Oct. 28.

Firefighters discovered marijuana plants inside the building - police have been called to the building before.
