Delta airlines and Air France-KLM are both closing their call centres in the city by next August.

280 jobs will be lost as a result.

Delta and Air France-KLM announced a merger last May and they're re-examining their joint operations to make cost savings.

The call centres will be moved to the United States and some staff will be trained to respond to calls from French-speaking customers.
