CALGARY Thousands of Canadian football fans lined downtown streets in Calgary this morning for the Grey Cup parade.
The parade started 20 minutes late because of an ice hazard left over from a quick-moving snowstorm late Friday.
But even though the windchill was sitting at minus-4, the fans bundled up to watch and enjoy the occasion.
Calgary's Elisha Cuthbert, a star of the television series 24, was the parade Grand Marshal.
Fans from all CFL teams were proudly wearing their colours along the route but the primary colour was green in honour of western contender the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
