The Montreal Alouettes are getting ready for one huge party to cap off their Grey Cup win on the weekend.

A parade will be held downtown on Wednesday, beginning on Ste. Catherine St. at the corner of Crescent St. at 11:40 a.m.

"City of Montreal, this is for you. You know as well as us you guys have been waiting on this as much as us. We just ask everybody to come out, have a great time and support us," said Als defensive end Anwar Stewart at a press conference on Tuesday.

Quarterback Anthony Calvillo told reporters he's not ready for retirement.

"This morning I talked to my wife and I said, 'What do you think?' and she said, 'There's nothing to think about, we're going to come back and play!'"

Head coach Marc Trestman said he's living in the present instead of thinking about the future.

"Right now, there is nothing in my mind other than enjoying this moment with the football team and the players," he said.

Thousands of Montrealers are expected to pack the streets to celebrate with the team.

When the Als last won the Grey Cup in 2002, more than 100,000 fans flocked downtown to welcome and congratulate the players.
