Specialized flu clinics that had opened temporarily to treat H1N1 infections were closed Saturday.

The rate of illness from the swine flu pandemic has dropped in the past week across Montreal, health officials confirmed Friday.

Vaccination centres are still open. So far, 3.3 million people in Quebec have been vaccinated against the illness since Oct. 22.

There have been 10,614 confirmed cases of H1N1 in Quebec since Aug. 30, resulting in 72 deaths.
