Police are looking for a 30-year-old man who escaped from Montreal's Pinel Institute for the criminally insane.
Jean-Francois Lussier was held at the institute in connection with a series of violent crimes.
He had been found not responsible for the crimes because of mental difficulties.
On Wednesday morning he broke a second-floor window and fled.
Police say he's dangerous.
