Members of the National Assembly will be back in Quebec City Tuesday for the opening of the spring session.
There are a number of unresolved issues including the upcoming budget that will include a sales-tax hike.
Quebecers can also expect a major increase in fees for a range of government services that could include Hydro-Quebec rates.
Ethics, corruption, labour
The opposition is also expected to raise the issue of Liberal ethics during the upcoming session.
The ongoing troubles of former cabinet minister David Whissel are so bad that he's not showing up for the next couple of weeks and he might resign from the national assembly. The Parti Quebecois will also renew its calls for a public inquiry into corruption in the construction industry.
There's also going to be action on the labour front -- 500,000 public-sector employees want more money but Premier Jean Charest's government says that it has no money.
