A 59-year-old man attacked Saturday in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve has died.
Police confirmed Robert Brassard died Sunday afternoon as a result of his injuries.
He came to the aid of his 70-year-old sister who called out to him after a man followed her into her brother's home on Bourbonniere St. she she entered it at 6:30 a.m.
The woman wasn't badly injured.
Police are looking for a suspect in his 40s, as well as a motive for the assault.
