The man accused in the murder of Natasha Cournoyer is now facing an attempted murder charge.
Claude Larouche, 48, is facing the new charge in connection with the attempted murder of a sex worker.
The charge is in addition to the first-degree murder charge he faces after 37-year-old corrections worker Cournoyer was abducted and murdered outside her Laval office in October.
