It's been years since there was a line-up outside the Seville Theatre on Ste. Catherine St., but dozens of people lined up Friday for a chance to buy a condo.

Construction began in June on the $100-million project where developers are planning to build 450 condominiums and half-a-dozen stores.

Development company Prevel, backed by Stephen Bronfman, will construct three towers each 11 to 20 storeys high. Many of the units will be priced around $200,000.

Those looking to buy were in for a long wait Friday; the sales office for the project doesn't open until Saturday at noon, and construction will take at least another two years.
