Six members of a street gang were arrested Wednesday and Thursday as suspects in a litany of crimes.

Two have already been released after making promises to appear in court, while four are expected to be charged on Thursday with pimping, forcing minors into prostitution, drug trafficking, and other crimes.

Police say three of the men, aged 17 to 26, were arrested in Montreal North while the rest were in Sainte Julie.

Police say they began their investigation in December after learning of prostitutes working in Longueuil.

During their raids officers also seized weapons, cash, a vehicle and drugs.
