STE. FLORENCE, Que. - Authorities are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths of three family members in Quebec's Gaspe peninsula.

Quebec provincial police say they suspect a 24-year-old man may have murdered his grandparents and then killed himself.

The body of the man was found Saturday in a residence in Ste. Florence, a small community about 700 kilometres northeast of Montreal.

The man's grandfather was found dead the same day in a wooded area not far from the home.

After searching the area, police found the body of the man's grandmother today along a nearby stream.

An autopsy is to be performed in Montreal in the coming days.
