MONTREAL - Motorists planning to hop off the Ville Marie expressway and then zoom up the Main will have to find another route until mid-August.

Construction of a pedestrian tunnel linking the upcoming French superhospital (CHUM) with the Champ-de-Mars metro will require that the St-Laurent route off the highway be closed between 23 July and 14 August.

Exit six from 720 eastbound will, however, remain open - except for the night of Saturday July 23 - and those who usually go left at the fork will be forced to stay to the right and then go up Berri, slightly further east.
