MONTREAL - Montreal police are questioning two suspects in what has turned into a murder investigation.

Just after 5 p.m. Sunday a 24-year-old man was stabbed several times in the upper body while at the corner of Jarry St. East and Second Ave.

He was rushed to hospital and treated for his wounds, but later died of his injuries.

Witnesses were able to describe two suspects and a car that fled the scene. That vehicle was found in Laval and the 28-year-old driver, along with a 17-year-old male, were taken into custody and questioned.

Const. Olivier Lapointe said the two men were still being interrogated as of 5 a.m. Monday.
