MONTREAL- Five hours a day, five days a week, Connor Cunningham can be found climbing ladders and jumping off a tower or springboard.

The 12-year-old is the top diver in the North Shore Aquatics Association, and with each win he keeps getting better.

"I tried a bunch of sports in the past before like hockey and soccer, and then we decided to go with diving," said Connor.

"We started doing lessons and then the coach came up to my mom and said 'Hey, your kid's got a nice toe point. Why don't you put him in diving?'"

That was four years ago, and Connor has been diving -- undefeated -- for the past three out of several pools, including Valleycrest Pool and the Pointe Claire Aquatic Centre.

"I feel like, yes I did it, I'm good, I can do it, I can do it again, it just makes me feel much more confident."

What he wants is to reach the top of his sport.

"I'm hoping to keep going and to make the 2016 Olympics. That's my goal overall, and then if I do that, I'll just take it from there."
