MONTREAL - It's not stylish, or chic, but Joe Beef has plenty of personality and good taste.

The co-owners of the restaurant in the middle of Little Burgundy have written a book that is full of recipes not just for cooking, but for life.

It's only fitting for a restaurant that is named after Charles McKiernan, a gruff 19th century philanthropist who was a working class hero.

Frederic Morin and David McMillan wrote "The Art of Living According to Joe Beef" and spoke to Mutsumi Takahashi about their book.
