LONGUEUIL - Bianca Rojas-Latraverse is pleading not guilty to charges that she and three men conducted a home invasion and theft of poker star Jonathan Duhamel.

Rojas-Latraverse and two other men charged in the case appeared in Longueuil court Wednesday. A fourth accused has already been freed and faces charges in May.

The charges against the four include robbery, assault, kidnapping and conspiracy.

The charges stem from events of Dec. 21, when a fake delivery men came to Duhamel's home and robbed him of over $115,000 in cash from a safe, a Rolex watch and a $40,000 bracelet which he had won at a tournament.

The poker champ was also badly beaten and tied up during the attack.

Duhamel told police he suspected his ex-girlfriend was behind the plan.

Police apparently received another tip pointing to the same suspect, as Rojas-Latraverse had allegedly vowed publicly to get revenge on Duhamel for breaking up with her.

John-Stephan Clark-Lemay, 22, Andre-Robert Perron, 26, and Anthony Bourque, 20, were also arrested. Perron has been freed while he awaits trial but the others remain behind bars.

Clark-Lemay was arrested in a hotel room in a Holiday Inn in Pointe Claire and where he had allegedly partied and smoked pot over the holidays.

Rojas-Latraverse faces five charges, including conspiracy.

Bianca Rojas-Latraverse accompanied Duhamel last summer to Las Vegas for six weeks at the most recent World Series of Poker, which he did not win.

Duhamel rocketed to stardom in 2010 when he won US$8.9 million in a poker tournament in Las Vegas, making him the first Canadian to capture the Main Event at the World Series of Poker.
