MONTREAL - Police say the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man in a fast food parking lot on Decarie south of Isabella Thursday evening could be gang related.

The victim was transferred to hospital shortly after 7 p.m. and died later in the evening.

Police said it appears he was been shot in the upper body, though an autopsy will confirm.

He was known to police and had street gang ties.

Police interviewed customers who were inside the restaurant at the time of the incident in hopes of getting a description of the attackers.

This is the city's second homicide of 2012.
