After sweeping the Gatineau Olympiques, the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada is ready for round two of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League playoffs.

The first of the best-of-seven semifinal matches against Rimouski Oceanic begin Friday, at the Centre d'Excellence Sports Rousseau in Boisbriand.

Though this round should present more of a challenge, Armada captain Xavier Ouellet said the team is prepared.

"We turned the page. It's something important in the playoffs. We've got to be ready and we are getting ready for that next round. Everybody is excited about it, so we can't wait to start," he said.

Head coach Jean-Francois Houle said the team will have to execute the same system that has worked for them so far.

"We want to put a lot of pressure on them and create turnovers. It's our trademark -- the work ethic. We're going to keep doing that. Hopefully it will work in this series as well," said Houle.

Part of the Armada's success is thanks to 19-year-old Jess Tanguy, who leads the team with 13 points in just four games.

Tanguy credits his ability to lead to his success.

"My leadership to bring to the kids and step my game up, to go as far as we can in the playoffs," he said.

Houle said Tanguy has been very strong support for the team.

"Jess has been playing very well for us, and getting quite a bit of points in the first round. We look up to him to get on the score sheet. It certainly helps when he produces. It brings everyone to elevate their game," he said. "Hopefully he can continue like that in the second round."
