MONTREAL - A St. Laurent Blvd. nightclub caught fire overnight.
The fire broke out at the Muzique Audio Bar, located on St. Laurent near the corner of Roy St. around 2:30 a.m.
Firefighters said that 10 people were evacuated from the building, although one of the owners of the club contacted CTV Montreal to say their establishment was empty when the fire started.
Firefighters are still investigating but say it appears the fire started with some sort of explosion on the terrasse.
There are no reports that anyone was hurt.
The building and roof were heavily damaged by flames and water.
